Syarikat FWD Takaful Berhad is a Family Takaful Operator in Malaysia. The shareholders of company FWD Takaful are FWD Life Insurance Company (Bermuda), Limited (a FWD Group company), JAB Capital Berhad Lembaga, Malaysian Employees Provident Fund (EPF).
FWD Takaful is a Takaful business unit of FWD Group which is the insurance business of investment group and spans Hong Kong and Macau, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Japan and Malaysia and it offers life and medical insurance, general insurance, family Takaful and employee benefits across a number of its markets.
FWD Kasih was offered on 6th October 2020 and certified by Bank Negara Malaysia as an affordable protection plan for the B40 group and easy to understand, with a simple and easy claim process. FWD Kasih is a term takaful plan that can be renewed annually. This takaful plan offers death, accidental death and Total and Permanent Disability benefits. FWD Kasih will pay RM 3,000 when the Covered Person dies, as a funeral expense. In addition, this Takaful Certificate schedule will be automatically renewed annually until the age of 59 years and expires at the age of 60 years.
